Byalyatski: Court rulings are ordered from top

Human rights activist Ales Byalyatski told the European Radio for Belarus that human rights groups are drawing up the lists of detainees during the March 25 Freedom Day demonstrations. He said legal assistance would also be offered to them if possible. He stressed the trials of the detainees today would be of the conveyer type. "The previous experience has shown that these conveyer-type trials are not ruled by the Administrative Code. The rulings are ordered from the top. Unfortunately, any legal assistance in these conditions has little sense", Byalyatski said.
