Candidates’ certificates to be presented on November 18
Presidential contenders will receive their certificates in the Palace of the Republic on November 18. The CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik has informed ERB about it.
Lazavik: “They will be presented in the Palace of the Republic on November 18. The ceremony will begin at 12 a.m. or a bit earlier”.
Let us remind you that 11 people presented the documents required for the registration of presidential contenders: the deputy head of the BPF Party Ryhor Kastusyou, the head of the union “For Modernisation” Ales Mihalevich, the leader of a civil campaign “Tell the Truth!” Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu, the deputy head of the United Civil Party Yaraslau Ramanchuk, the co-leader of the steering committee of the “Belarusian Christian Democracy” party Vital Rymasheuski, the leader of the “European Belarus” campaign Andrei Sannikau, the leader of the steering committee of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party “People’s Assembly” Mikola Statkevich, the director of the “Trivium” company Dzmitry Us, the chairperson of the council of the Small and Medium Enterprises Association Victar Tsyareshchanka and the current President Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
A Vitsebsk entrepreneur Uladzimir Pravalski has also presented the required documents. But the Central Election Commission has already claimed that Pravalski has no chance because he has not collected the necessary number of valid signatures.
