Candidates’ representatives stand trial in Homel
Representatives of former presidential candidates Nyaklyayeu, Statkevich and Rymasheuski detained yesterday have been pronounced their sentences today, on December 20.
Homel Soviet District Court has returned Mikalai Statkevich’s representative Yury Zaharanka guilty of petty hooliganism. He has been sentenced to 12 days of detention.
Homel Central District Court has considered two “petty hooliganism” cases. Valery Slyapuhin, a representative of former presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu, has been arrested for 12 days. Yury Klimovich, Vital Rymasheuski’s representative, has been detained for 15 days, reports BelaPAN.
