Car-free day in Belarus
The traffic police in Belarus has called on drivers to take an active part in the action titled "One Day Without a Car" today, reports the official news agency Belta. The traffic police officers today will focus on ensuring an unhindered operation of the public transport. Officers will be deployed to the streets with the intensive pedestrian and bicycle traffic, providing safety for them. By refusing from driving today, citizens will get rid of traffic jams, according to the traffic police.
