Castro’s son arrivs in Belarus to get “information materials”

Fidel Castro’s eldest son has visited Belarus recently. However, there was no official information about his visit. As “Solidarity” found out in the Cuban Embassy in Minsk, Fidelito Castro had been invited to our country by the State Science and Technology Committee.
He visited scientific centres of the Academy of Sciences including the united institute for energy and nuclear technologies “Sosny” and the Ministry of Education. Castro Jr. was interested in “the scientific potential of Belarus” and received “information materials about the state of the scientific and technological sphere in Belarus”.

According to one version, Minsk and Havana are considering the realization of a possible joint nuclear project (by the way, Fidelito Castro is a specialist in nuclear physics theory). The other version is that the Castros are going to take part in the privatization in Belarus.
