CEC to consider complaints about election results today
The Central Election Commission will consider the appeal disputing the election results today. Mikalai Lazavik has informed BelaPAN about it. According to him, the complaint sent by a former presidential candidate Ryhor Kastysyou on December 22 will be considered. Kastusyou asked the Central Election Commission to consider his appeal sent on behalf of the arrested candidates.
Lazavik stressed that the other complaints were unlikely to be considered because they were “of low quality”. Speaking about the complaint lodged by the Belarusian Helsinki Committee, Lazavik claimed: “The BHC slipped to the level of an F-student of the law faculty who seems to know the right terms but is unable to comment on anything to the point”.
