CEC to reconsider Rymasheuski and Statkevich’s registration today

The Central Election Commission will consider sanctions that may be imposed on presidential candidates Vital Rymasheuski and Mikalai Statkevich for the organization of an unauthorized street action.
The action in protest of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s participation in the presidential election was organized in October Square on the evening of November 24. It was dated for the 14th anniversary of the constitutional referendum initiated by him. The action was announced as a meeting of presidential candidates with electors.

According to the Election Code, the CEC may pronounce a warning to the candidates or take a decision about the cancellation of their registration.
