Central Elections Commission has received the first application for nomination group registration
An economist Viktar Tsiareshchanka has filed an application for registration of a nomination group on being appointed as a candidate for President of the Republic of Belarus, to the Central Elections Commission. This is the first application received by the CEC.
BelaPAN reminds, that a 60-year-old Tsiareshchanka participated in the presidential electoral race for the third time. He made his previous attempts in 1994 and 2001.
According to the contender, there are representatives of different political parties among the members of his nomination group. Tsiareshchanka is convinced he is capable of collecting the necessary 100 thousand signatures.
