Chairman of Vitsebsk election commission discharged
The Chairman of the precinct election commission No. 35 of Pershamaiski district of Vitsebsk Andrej Markouski was discharged from the commission upon the complaint of the human rights activist Pavel Levinau. Mr. Levinau proved that the Deputy Director of "Vitsebskhlebprom" Andrej Markouski had not collected 10 recommendatory signatures of voters for his nomination as a member of the election commission.
In addition to that, Markouski could use the personal data of those citizens who signed for Pavel Levinau's nomination as a member of the commission.
The human rights activist presented the citizens' appeals, in which they confirmed they had signed for Levinau, not for Markouski.
Pavel Levinau's goal is that the law-enforcement agencies bring the guilty of document forgery to responsibility.
