Christmas tree to cost 160 dollars for some Belarusians
Belarusians will have to pay 160 dollars for illegally felled fir-trees. The Ministry of Forestry warns about it.
A greater fine will be imposed for felling trees in forests falling in the first category. Poachers will have to pay up to 780 dollars in this case. The maximal fine will be imposed on private entrepreneurs – more than 3200 dollars.
ONT informs that forests will be thoroughly patrolled starting from December 15. Policemen, employees of the Ministry of Nature and Forest Protection will join the patrol brigades. They will control the main highways, bus stations, railways and electric trains.
