Civil group denied spaces for registration in Masty

The district administration in Masty, Hrodna region, has denied a legal address to Ales Zarembyuk for the registration of a public organization. Officials said there were no vacant venues available for the accommodation of the organization. Zarembyuk coordinates a committee that is organizing for the registration of the For European Masty civil group. "Тhus, the local authorities have demonstrated that they are not interested in the legalization of civil activities in the Masty district. The liberalization of the societal life, declared by the Belarusian leader, is just a lift-up and is not aimed at developing the civil society in the field", Ales Zarembyuk noted.
