Columbia, Venezuela re-establish diplomatic ties

Columbian President Juan Manuel Santos announced the restoration of diplomatic ties with Venezuela after his meeting with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Columbia.

Venezuelan leader severed diplomatic ties with Columbia a year ago after Caracas was accused by the Orgnization of American States of receiving Columbian rebels on the Venezuelan territory, reports Radio Liberty.
