Condoleeza Rice: US will support democracy in Belarus, Russia
The United States will support democracy in Belarus and Russia, US State Secretary Condoleeza Rice said in a statement. Speaking during a hearing at the US Senate, Rice mentioned Belarus and Russia among those"critically important" countries for the Bush Administration's programs aimed at supporting democracy and human rights abroad, reports the Russian news agency Ria Novosti
