Consignment of clothes costing 1 billion is detained at Belarus-Poland border
A consignment of exclusive clothes and footwear costing 1 billion roubles has been detained at Belarus-Poland border. It was transported in a “DAF” bearing Russian number plates.
The goods were checked at the “Berastavitsa-2” check-point. It turned out that there were 3 thousand items more that it had been declared. It is the biggest detention of goods at Belarus-Poland border over the past years.
According to “Sovetskaya Belorussiya”, the driver and the company transporting the goods pretended they did not know where the excessive goods had come from. The court will decide what should be done about the goods.
