Department of State decides to keep Embassy to Minsk

One of the speakers of the US Department of State Tom Kasey has refuted the information about closing down the American Embassy to Minsk. The official Washington is still thinking about the future functions of the diplomatic mission in Belarus. Kasey claimed that the USA was considering the whole range of variants concerning its diplomatic presence. However, no official decision has been taken yet.

According to the representative of the Department of State, the American authorities have not demanded to reduce the staff of the Belarusian Embassy.
