Deputies unanimously accept budget project for next year in first reading
Deputies of the House of Representatives have unanimously accepted the budget project for 2010 in the first reading.
According to the Minister of Finance Andrei Harkavets, the budget project provides for the cancellation of four taxes: the duties for the republican support fund of agricultural producers, vehicle purchase tax, local tax for retail trade and the local tax for parking in specially equipped places.
At the same time, the value added tax will increase from 18 to 20%. According to the Minister, the income of the consolidated budget 2010 is supposed to reach 53 trillion rubles, the expenses will total 55.7 trillions.
