Detainee bailed out for the first time in Pinsk

Br3,500,000 ($1150) were deposited by the parents to bail out their son from pre-trial detention in Pinsk, reports Pinski Vesnik newspaper. The 18-year-old resident of Pinsk was detained by the police when he was under influence of narcotics. Officers seized marijuana and filed criminal charges for drug trafficking. But the parents stepped in to bail their son out who now stays at home and reports to investigators for interrogations.

The suspect says marijuana was not for sale but for personal use. If it is proved otherwise, the youngster faces up to five years in prison.
