Detentions during Torch Relay in Canberra

Seven people have been detained during the Torch Relay in the Australian capital of Canberra.
The Torch Relay was 16 kilometres long and started with a traditional ceremony of aborigines. Then it proceeded to the bank of Lake Burley Griffin and to the building of the Australian Parliament. It finished in Commonwealth Park.

Several incidents took place in spite of the fact that there were much more Chinese viewers in comparison with those who wanted to express their protest.
