Directors faces fines for refusing to report solemn functions at enterprises in Vaukavysk

The revenue authorities in Vaykavysk demand the directors of enterprises in the area to submit information about all the solemn functions for the aim of allegedly "implementing taxation controls".  Directors of plants and factories are ordered to submit information about weddings or jubilees not later than 2 days before the function. BelarusPartisan.org notes revenue officials do not explain what information exactly should be provided: the number of employees who plan to tak part in a function or the total cost of the event.

The local tax inspection threatens that directors will be fined with Br300,000 to Br1 million for refusing to submit this information.
