Draft bill preserving benefits for some policemen is prepared
A draft bill preserving benefits for some categories of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been prepared in Belarus. The department of information and public relations of the Ministry of Internal Affaires informed about it.
Policemen trying to catch pickpockets, district police officers and other policemen dealing with keeping the civil order will be guaranteed free travel by public transport.
It is planned that such policemen will have special signs or season tickets, reports BelTA.
As ERB informed, policemen are allowed not to buy tickets even now on condition they have a special sign approved by Alyaksandr Lukashenka in 1995.
However, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has prepared a draft bill according to which this decree will be abolished. But Lukashenka has not signed it yet.
