Driver who ran over 4 pupils detained in Mahileu Region
The driver suspected of having run over four pupils has been detained in Mahileu Region.
The guys and girls were returning home from a disco. They were walking along the Mahileu-airport highway. A car ran over them near the village of Nikitsinichy (Mahileu District). The driver fled.
A 16-year-old girl died instantly. A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old guys and the other 16-year-old girl got severe injuries and are now in hospital in Mahileu.
The “Ford-Sierra” was found on that night in the yard of the “Avant-guard” organization. Its owner, a 37-year-old security guard of this rural organization, was detained. It is reported that the man was already detained for drunken driving before.
