Egypt continues searches of Van Gogh painting
Egyptian security forces continue searhes of the stolen painting of Van Gogh "Poppy Flower", informs RIA Novosti.
A painting worth an estimated 55 million dollars disappeared from the museum on Saturday during working hours. Only 7 surveillance cameras out of 43 worked, and the exhibit alarm was turned off. The museum has been closed till there's a special order. The staff has been prohibited to leave the country. All the people who fly abroad are being scrupulously searched in the international airports of Egypt.
"Poppy Flower" was stolen from the museum before, in 1978. It took 10 years to get it back.
