Entrepreneurs' group Perspektyva set to dump its leader?

The board of the public association Perspektyva (Perspective) does not rule out that Anatol Shumchanka, its current leader, could be removed as the chairman of this entrepreneurs' union, reports  STV. Shumchanka is serving his 15-day arrest term for staging an unauthorized protest of entrepreneurs on January 10 in downtown Minsk. The Ministry of Justice wanted to shut down the union on charges that the leader took part in the illegal event but it later recalled the lawsuit papers from the Supreme Court.

The board of the association sent a letter to the Justice Ministry, stressing that the governing bodies of the union did not pass a formal decision for the chairman to take part in an unauthorized protest action.
