ERB’s website not to be updated from 12 to 1 p.m. – we take part in “One hour’s silence” action
The website of ERB will not be updated from 12 to 1 p.m. The European Radio for Belarus has joined the “One hour’s silence” action organized by the Belarusian association of Journalists in bynet. We express a protest against the adoption of the law “On mass media” without any public discussion or an international expertise. The law has made the threat of closing down numerous non-governmental news resources real.
