EU approves aid to Ireland
The EU countries have approved appropriation of the emergency aid economic package to Ireland. The credit for 85 billion euros is to help Dublin to prevent the bank system's default, Radio Liberty reports.
The Irish government published a statement that 50 billion would be spent on financing the country's budget deficit. 35 billion will be granted to the banks which face banrupcy.
The financial aid provided to Ireland surpasses the annual scope of the Belarusian economy twice. 17,5 billion from this sum has been paid by Ireland as a fee to the EU's stabilization fund.
