EU leadership declares Monday a day of mourning
The leadership of the European Union has declared Monday, April 12 a day of mourning. All the EU buildings in Brussels will put their flad down half a mast to mourn for the dozens of perished high-ranking Polish citizens who died when Polish president's Lech Kaczynski's plane crashed near Smolensk. Russia has also declared Monday a day of mourning. Poland today started a week of mourning. Latvia is also expected to declare Monday a day of mourning.
