EU supports territorial integrity of Georgia and will help it
The European Union supports the territorial integrity of Georgia and is going to render it additional economic and humanitarian assistance. The EU Foreign Policy Chief Xavier Solana claimed it after a meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze. "Georgia has suffered in the conflict and we have to render the people economic assistance to help restore the country and support refugees”, - he stressed.
Solana has also stressed that “the further direction of relations with Russia” will be decided at an EU summit today.
