Eurasian Economic Community summit opens in Dushanbe

The summit of the Eurasian Economic Community has officially opened in the Tadjik capital of Dushanbe with the participation of the presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Tadjikistan and Uzbekistan. The presidents of Armenia and Moldova are also attending as observers. Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia are expected to sign several documents that deal with the creation of the Customs Union, reports the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

The Eurasian Economic Community is an international economic organization which aims to facilitate free trade between the member countries.
