European Union to allocate 1 billion euro to developing countries
The European Union will allocate 1 billion euro to developing countries in order to help them survive the food crisis. The European Commission head José Manuel Barroso informed about it at a G8 summit in Japan. According to him, the assistance will be sent to agricultural departments of African countries who have suffered most in connection with the food crisis, informs Gazeta.ru.
