Every other inhabitant of Vitsebsk Region does not feel safe
Only half of inhabitants of Vitsebsk Region feel safe at home. This has been revealed during a survey conducted by the police last year.
City dwellers are afraid of drunken teenagers most of all – every third or fourth inhabitant of the region’s district centres is afraid to become a victim of such hooligans.
Inhabitants of all towns of Vitsebsk Region demand to subject young people drinking beer and other alcoholic beverages in the open air to responsibility.
38% of citizens said they trusted the police. Furthermore, Vitsebsk policemen have become very polite – only a bit more than 1% of pollees said they witnessed policemen’s boorishness.
