Exiled youth activist gets a harder job
Artur Finkevich, a youth activist sentenced to an exile term for political graffiti, has again been sacked from his current job in Mahiliou. Previously, Artur worked as a gardener in a local kindergarten. He has now been transferred to work as a contruction worker at the site of the future paper mill in the town of Mahiliou.
Several days ago, the colony administration hinted that the political prisoner "had a too easy job" while he came to serve his pinishment term, Artur told the European Radio for Belarus.
Finkevich: "They want me to do a hard labor so that I have no free time for evenings. They need me to come back from work and simply fall asleep".
The correction facility's administration has not commented on Finkevich's transfer.
