Exposition “Nation’s pride”. Famous Jews – natives of Belarus”

An exposition “Nation’s pride. Famous Jews – natives of Belarus” has opened in the show-room of Brest Province Civil and Cultural Centre, reports BelaPAN. It describes 18 Jews who were born on the Belarusian territory and left a notable trace in the history of Israel, Belarus and the whole humanity. The Israeli President Shimon Peres, artists Marc Chagall and Haim Satin, political leaders, scientists and cultural workers are among them.
Biographies, documents and photos are presented at the exposition. It will be open till November 6.
