Fedaruk's surgery postponed for March 14
Zmitser Fedaruk, a youth activist who was forcefully drafted to the army, will be operated on March 14. Meanwhile, he was dispatched back to his unit to continue the military service in Zhodzina, reports Belapan. On February 18, Fedaruk was examined at a clinic in Minsk. He was expected to be admitted for surgery after he was diagnosed with varicose veins.
However, it turned out that there were not enough beds for soldiers, so the operation was put off. Fedaruk will have to serve together with other soldiers up to March 14.
