Fidel Castro has been announced “the best Cuban journalist” in 2008. He had been awarded a special Jose Marti National prize “For achievements in the field of journalism”.
A meeting of representatives of local mass media unanimously voted for announcing the leader of Cuban Revolution the best publicist according to the results of last year.

81-year-old Fidel Castro has been publishing articles in local mass media and the Internet for some time. He touched upon “the most important domestic and international problems” many times, especially if they concerned the policy of the USA, informs ITAR-TASS.
