Fines for wrong truck parking can be increased 10 times

Fines for truck parking in wrong places can be increased 10 times. Such suggestion has been made by Minsk City Executive Committee, reports  Belteleradiocompany.  At present, it is easier for drivers to pay 35 thousand roubles fine for wrong parking than to pay 5 times more monthly for parking in a specialized parking place. Thus, they leave their trucks in central streets and adjacent areas, where the trucks interfere with the traffic movement and cleaning of the streets.  

According to statistics, only each fifth truck is left at a specialized parking place for the night, while 3 thousand parking places stay empty. Open parking places are also not popular with the city dwellers.
