First women's ice hockey team registered in Belarus
The first women's ice hockey team has received the name of Pantera, reports Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation. On June 27, it was registered as a legal entitied and joined the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation. The team's main task is to popularize women's ice hockey in Belarus and to create a basis for building a national women's ice hockey team. The team will gather for the first training session on August 1 in Raubichy. Since they have nobody to play with in in Belarus, 'Panthers' appriled for participation in Latvia's Open Championship.
