Five radioactive road-trains detained at Polish-Ukrainian border
Five radioactive road-trains have been detained by Belarusian frontier guards at Polish-Ukrainian border.
The level of radiation exceeded the norm by several times. Four trains were detained at the “Kazlovicy” check-point at Belarusian-Polish border. They had arrived from Italy and Germany and were transporting bricks, ceramic tiles, dyestuffs and food additives.
One more road-train was detained at Belarusian-Ukrainian border. The check-up showed that the level of radiation of household chemical goods and dyestuffs transported in it exceeded the norm by 2.5 times.
Specialists from the Emergency Control Ministry and Industrial Control Committee are dealing with the goods now.
