Flooding cuts off 7 villages in Homel region

Floods in southern Belarus have cut off seven villages from the 'mainland', reports Belapan.
Flooding has washed away the road to the village of Pershamaisk in the Loyeu district. The government has dispatched a mobile group of two fire-fighters, a policeman and a doctor for the 24-hour duty. Boats will be deployed to transport people, water and foodstuffs four times a day.
