Foreigner starts fire in Vitsebsk dormitory
The fire broke out in the night in a dormitory of the Vitsebsk State Medical University on the floor where foreign students live. Over 150 people had to be evacuated.
Officials said the fire was caused by a heating device which a foreign studetn had placed under his bed and left it on unattended.
Evacuation was carried out properly, so no injuries were reported.
The student responsible for the blaze will be penalized with a fine, writes newspaper Zvyazda.
