Former leader of Belarusian Freedom Party summoned by investigators
An
investigator phoned Syarhey Vysotski, former leader of the unregistered
Belarusian Freedom Party, and asked him to report to the Investigative
Department on July 23.
The
investigator did not mention any reasons, noting only that Vysotski does not
need a lawyer to be present at the meeting that would last just 10 to 15
minutes, RFE/RL Belarus
Service reported.
Vysotski
was released on July 12 after spending two days in the KGB pretrial detention
center in connection with the July 4 Independence Day concert bombing.
