Former prosecutor to stand trial in August
The trial of former Minsk Regional Prosecutor Mikhail Snyahir will begin in early August, BelTA reported.
Snyahir faces a power abuse charge under Part Three of the Criminal Code’s Article 424, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
At a government conference held on November 13, President Alyaksandr Lukashenka accused a number of high-ranking officials, including Snyahir, of involvement in corrupt practices.
