Forward of Minsk “Yunatstva” Alyaksey Savin died
The forward of Minsk “Yunatstva-Minsk” Alyaksey Savin died on June 18. The hockey player was run over by a car when he was riding a bicycle.
The tragedy took place in Chelyabinsk, the young forward’s home town. He was to return to Minsk and continue training with his club soon.
The “Pressball” newspaper reports that Alyksey Savin who turned 21 on May 15 was one of the most promising players in the Belarusian hockey. He played for the junior team of our country and for the national team in the World Championship-2006 in Riga.
The European radio for Belarus condoles with Alyaksey’s relatives, players and administration of the hockey club “Yunatstva-Minsk”.
