Free Schengen visas for Belarusians – political declaration
The Slovakian Embassy to our country has refuted information about free Schengen visas for Belarusians and Ukrainians that were said to be given out after the Visegrád Group joined the Schengen Agreement.
The press release issued by the Slovakian Embassy informs that some Belarusian mass media distributed “inaccurate information”.
Let us remind you that after the recent meeting of the Visegrád Group member states’ Presidents in Prague it was announced that Poland, Hungary, Czechia and Slovakia were going go give out free visas to Belarusians after joining the Schengen Agreement.
The press secretary of the Polish Embassy to Belarus Monica Sadkowska explained the problem: “This is a political declaration of our countries about the thing we desire. We would like Belarusian citizens get free visas after we join the Schengen Agreement”.
