Garbage exchanged for chocolate in Kalodzishchy not far from Minsk
Garbage was exchanged for chocolate in the village of Kalodzishchy not far from Minsk. This unusual action took place on September 22.
The action’s organizers are a civil association “Ecadom”, the local rural district council and school – they tried to draw the attention of local inhabitants to the problem of obstruction of the local forest.
Activists were not only collecting garbage but they also informed people about its centralized removal and offered them to sign the agreement.
Everyone could also exchange garbage for chocolates. The most active participants of the action also got teddy bears.
It was reported that the most active participants of garbage collection in Kalodzishchy and in the local forest were schoolchildren and women with small children.
