Gasoline price up five percent
Retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel rose by five percent on average in Belarus on July 23. The price of A-76 gasoline rose by 100 to 1,950 rubels per liter, of
A-92 gasoline by 120 to 2.470 rubels and of A-95 gasoline by 140 to
2.810 rubels, said the Belarusian State Petrochemical Concern (Belnaftakhim).
Belnaftakhim linked the rise to higher crude oil prices, noting that it is aimed to prevent fuel smuggling to neighboring countries, where its prices are higher.
