Gay parades organizer returns from Minsk to Moscow without asking for asylum

The organizer of gay-parades in Moscow Mikalaj Aliakseeu, who had been arrested before and forcibly taken to Belarus, returned to the Russian capital. Yesterday there was information he was going to apply for political asylum in our country. 
According to Gazeta.Ru, Aliakseeu claims that after he had been arrested in the Domodedovo airport he was driven our of Moscow to some regional police department and interrogated there for a whole day. The policemen allegedly demanded he should withdraw his claim on gay-parades from the European Court. After that the gay activist was in fact deported from Russia and he found himself in Minsk, says Aliakseeu. He promises to make a statement by the end of the day.

Let us remind you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France made a statement with regard to Mikalaj Aliakseeu, who demanded the Russian authorities should grant him the freedom of movement, on Friday night.
