General Prosecutor's Office to pronounce official warning to Rymasheuski today
The General Prosecutor's Office will pronounce an official warning to the presidential candidate of “Belarusian Christian Democracy” Vital Rymasheuski on November 24. The reason for the warning is the appeal to electors to come to October Square this evening. Rymahsueksi made the statement during his live speech on state TV on November 22. The General Prosecutor's Office will inform the Central Election Commission about the pronounced warning. The head of the legislative execution and lawfulness of legal acts monitoring service of the General Prosecutor's Office Pavel Radziyonau reminded to the STV that such appeals contradicted the law. The Election Code indicates the order of mass events during the election campaign. Candidate Rymasheuski urged electors to come to a venue forbidden by the legislation.
