General Prosecutor’s Office supports changing Halip’s measure of restraint
According to Zmitser Lukashuk, a Euroradio reporter, the General Prosecutor’s Office does not support the practice of pre-trial detention and promotes
such measures of restraint as release on recognizance or house arrest.
"If the head of the investigative group initiates to change Iryna Halip’s measure of restraint, we will support the initiative”, - claimed Ryhor Vasilevich, the Belarusian Attorney General, at a press conference in Minsk.
