German Ambassador frequents President’s Administration
As ERB has found out, the last meeting took place yesterday and was different from the meeting concerning Alyaksandr Kazulin that had taken place in January when the case of Alyaksandr Kazulin had been discussed.
The German Ambassador to Belarus Gebhard Weiss visited the President’s Administration yesterday. The secretary of the diplomatic mission Matias Birman informed ERB about it.
“The press service of the German Embassy confirms that a meeting with the German Ambassador took place in the President’s Administration yesterday”.
At the same time, the Embassy refused to inform who had attended the meeting and what had been discussed there. Mr.Birman noted that the yesterday’s meeting did not resemble the meetings that had taken place in May and January.
“There is nothing strange about the accredited Ambassador organizing meetings in the President’s Administration but the meeting did not resemble the meetings that took place in May and January”.
Let us remind you that Gebhard Weiss met Alyaksandr Lukashenka on January 31. The topic of the conversation was not announced. Alyaksandr Kazulin informed that the authorities offered him freedom on condition that he left for Germany and stopped being engaged in politics.
The political prisoner noted that Gebhard Weiss played a special part in that issue. Nothing is known about the meeting of the Ambassador with representatives of the President’s Administration in May.
