German volunteers face deportation from Mahilyow

German volunteers Solwa Schoris and Susana Paul were today detained in the teachers' school in Mahilyow. According to Viasna human rights group, the volunteers were invited for a meeting by local students. The police took them to a local district police station and filed illegal activities charges. Solwa Schoris and Susana Paul face deportation. The volunteers came to Belarus some five months ago at the invitation of the Blue Coasts, an NGO that works with handicap children with a talent in arts.
